Custodial History
Document files were initially maintained by the Curatorial Department for objects in the collection. They are now maintained by the Registrar's Office. The deaccessioned document files were formerly transferred to the Museum Archives at the discretion of the records coordinator, several years after objects have been deaccessioned. This practice has been discontinued, and the the deacessioned document files were returned to the Registrar's Office.
